1. What is this platform, and how does it work?

Our platform connects skilled virtual assistants with local employers. By signing up and creating a profile, you gain access to a connection point to local employers that are searching for your exact skillset and experience.

2. Who can join the network?

We welcome virtual assistants with varying levels of experience. As long as you are professional & passionate to serve the small businesses in your community, are ready to commit to working with a client, and abide by our values, we would love to have you apply!

3. What is the $5/month subscription fee for?

Our subscription fee for Virtual Assistants covers access to the platform, profile hosting, client matching, and developing training/support resources for our VAs.

4. How much can I earn?

All VAs start at $20 an hour, and will be paid based off of the hours retained in the package chosen by the client. Virtual Assistants have the opportunity to increase their pay based off of our tiered pay structure.

5. Can I set my own rate?

To ensure we remain accessibility to local small businesses, we've established a tiered pay structure regardless of your experience. Increasing pay involves passing a skills assessment to verify your skills - and achieving credentials that involves client relationship development.

6. How do I get paid? 

Clients are charged in the beginning of every month and all VAs will be paid by the end of every month for their package.

7. What do I need to include in my profile?

Your profile shows the answers to all of the questions an employer would have when seeking the right candidate to work with them. This would include highlighting your skills, experience, and who you are personally. We provide a simple form to guide you through the process.

8. What if my application is denied?

If your profile is not approved, your subscription will be cancelled and we will ensure your first month was free.

9. How do I find clients?

Clients browse profiles on our platform and book a VA based off of their needs.

10. Do I need to track my work hours?

No, your pay is based on the package the client books. Packages are retainment-based, meaning you will be paid for the maximum hours included in the package, whether you work all those hours or not. Your pay will be calculated as your hourly rate multiplied by the maximum number of hours in the client’s package.

11. How do the client packages work?

Clients book your services on a monthly basis. Each package includes a set number of hours or services, which you and the client will agree upon before starting.

12. What are my clients' expectations regarding my work hours?

Clients typically expect you to complete tasks within the agreed-upon schedule or package timeframe. However, you set your own availability and can communicate your schedule upfront.

13. What if a client requests something I cannot do within my skillset or within my timeframe?

If a client asks for a task outside your expertise or time capacity, communicate promptly and professionally. You can offer alternative solutions, such as adjusting priorities, referring them to another VA, or declining the task respectfully.

14. Do I have to work certain hours?

No, you set your own schedule and work only when it’s convenient for you.
