Who We are
Hi, I’m Peyton Taylor, a Lancaster, PA–based administrative professional and the founder of Virtual Assistance Network.

What started as a way for me to support local small businesses while maintaining flexibility as a stay-at-home mom quickly revealed a much bigger need.
​
I saw that many small businesses needed reliable administrative support but weren’t ready—or able—to hire full-time staff. They needed experienced help that could step in confidently and make an immediate impact.
​
At the same time, I recognized an opportunity to create meaningful, flexible work for families who needed it.
What began as a solo freelance venture naturally grew into something beyond myself.
Today, Virtual Assistance Network connects small businesses with dependable virtual assistants while providing flexible, purpose-driven work to individuals and families in our community.

It has been a gift to watch both businesses and freelancers be supported in ways none of us expected.

What makes us different
At the core of everything we do is a commitment to creating a mutually beneficial experience for both local businesses and local families. We believe meaningful work and reliable support should strengthen the communities they come from.

Freelance administrative opportunities are rare, yet the demand for skilled, flexible support continues to grow. By connecting small businesses with experienced virtual assistants from their own communities, we foster more authentic, trusted working relationships—ones built on shared values, accountability, and care.

We also believe pricing should be transparent and accessible. Many businesses reach a point where they’re ready to grow but don’t yet have the resources for full-time hires. We exist to bridge that gap, making it easier to get the support you need without overextending your business.

Our services are intentionally customizable, allowing employers to choose the type of administrative support that fits their organization—not the other way around.
